The box it came in was in bad shape and the neck of the vent had a dent. It’s slightly visible but I didn’t want to send it back and worry about the next vent I received from the shipper. The vent fan works fine and lighting is sufficient. Be aware that the control panel for the vent fan and lights are on both sides of the vent.

Great product, my mothers ceiling is 7′-3″ so I had to cut and adapt otherwise it would have been 24″ above her stove, but is very well made.

The range hood is dramatic and has that wow factor. The exhaust works well, as we saw just how quickly the smoke was removed and exited the house.

Arrived on time. A good indication it is filtering properly is that after just over a month of use the exposed parts of the grills have grease but the inside is squeaky clean. To compensate for my really low ceiling I cut a rectangle hole the size of the duct cover and extended the duct cover a few inches into the attic.

The fan was easy to install. It looks good. The sound it makes when it is on is quiet in the kitchen, but loud on the other side of the wall. It would be annoying to sit in the dining room and listen to the low rumble. I like how it looks and functions.

Great option for a good hood if you need ductless like we do. My contractor wasn’t thrilled with the directions, luckily he’s installed these before so he figured it out. On the highest setting it’s a bit loud, but nothing terrible and for the price worth it. Taking off the packaging sticker was a hassle but it prevented scratches. I’m happy with it so far and I think it looks great

I am happy with this purchase. I have a small kitchen and the smoke and grease used to get everywhere. My smoke detector in the other room used to go off every time i cooked anything and the top of my fridge used to be coated in grease. I think it works great for pulling the smoke and grease out of the air.

It was a nuisance to install and the instructions are not super clear. If your walls or ceiling are not perfectly straight, prepare for a wrestling match. Also, if you have 7.5 foot ceilings, you will not be able to install this at the max height above the countertop, because the chimney is too tall. It rattles when it’s on, even though we installed the rubber bumper feet that came with it. BUT. It works, the lights are nice, the controls are straightforward, and it LOOKS great.

First off let me say the item did come with instructions, but they did not help at all. The item was packaged poorly and one of the filter mounting tabs was broke along with some rough spots on the unwrapped stainless. The instructions basically show you what you have, but there are no actual instructions on which screws/ washers go where (because there are several different types in the package) or what order you need to proceed in. The fitment is not perfect either, but once its up I think only a real stickler could point out the flaws in fitment. The lights are actually one of the best parts of the hood. They are very bright, but seem to get hot with extended use. I have yet to test the actual fan out when cooking, but it seems to pull very well. You will also find that there are control buttons on both sides, but one side only works the lights where the side that faces me when i’m standing at my stove works fan, and lights?
Over all I think this is a classic you get what you pay for scenario. I’m satisfied, but do not want to go through another install like that again.

Looks great, and works great, a little lous. But two years in two of the lights burned out and one of the light switches stopped working so that’s kinda lame.

After much hesitation we ordered this vent for our new home… Im giving it 4/5 stars because the med/higher settings are pretty noisy but it is a great vent for the price! (Low is effective enough to keep odor and noise both down) Package came in undamaged (was nervous about that) not sure about installation because our builder hung it. We have 9ft ceilings and it looks beautiful over our butcher block countertop! Only other complaint is the fingerprints from the installer that wont wipe off from around the top part! Overall if this one would to break in 5/6 years, for the price compared to others, we’d even reorder it! If you are on the fence- i would definitely recommend taking the chance!

The packaging is questionable at best, the result of which was that the plastic piping mount was in 6-8 separate pieces. I briefly considered calling to see if I could get a replacement, but judging from the directions and lack of a clear phone number to call I decided to jb weld and duct tape it back together- pretty easy and saved me what I assumed would be a lot of effort and a delay to installation. Even though the directions were not fantastic it was easy enough to install after spending some time staring at it. Definitely a two person job though.
As far as the hood goes, it looks nice, clears smoke well and the lights are fantastic, though as other reviews note, if you turn the lights on without the fan on they get rather hot. This is fixed by making sure that fan is turned on with the lights.
Overall, a good deal for what I paid.F20
